Mike Bryant had a booming rifle-building business and was a well-known riflesmith and benchrest competitor from the early 1990s until his retirement in 2013. Bored with retirement, he re-opened his business, but he had a branding problem. The older generation, including his customers, thought he was retired. The younger generation had never heard of him. To top it off, there were a ton of new competitors with CNC mills who made pretty accurate rifles. His phone was not ringing and he couldn’t gain traction. Our team built his original website in 2001, so he called us. We worked to re-establish and elevate his brand, resulting in a 4x increase in sales.
In a deeply personal project close to my heart, I embarked on a journey to Texas to capture the essence of Mike Bryant's craftsmanship and story. This branded documentary, a labor of love, was meticulously crafted by myself, Sheldon Charron, from inception to completion. Over a few days, I personally filmed, directed, and produced this art film, drawing upon a 20-year friendship and collaboration with Mike. The project was an intimate exploration of his dedication to rifle making, weaving together his narrative with the meticulous process of building a rifle, culminating in its ultimate test at his private shooting range.
This film was not just about showcasing Mike's unparalleled skill but also about challenging myself as an artist to single-handedly capture the depth of his story through my lens. The result was a visually stunning documentary that resonated with viewers on an emotional level, garnering over 100,000 views in just 48 hours upon its release on social media and Amazon Prime. It stands as a testament to the power of storytelling, the art of film, and the profound connection between craftsman and filmmaker.
We used our film industry connections to get The Precision Riflesmith documentary listed on Amazon Prime Video. This turned Mike into a celebrity overnight. It gave a huge boost to his brand, his credibility and his revenue.
Enter360+ designed and developed a visually compelling website that features a branded documentary and numerous supporting videos. The site supports his brand, soft sells viewers and leads them to close via the contact form. He receives multiple queries per day. We built his original website way back in 2001 and surprisingly, it was still working fine right up until the day we replaced it 20 years later. bryantcustom.com
“Enter360 went way above and beyond our expectations. When they launched the new website and released the film on social media, we immediately started getting a ton of Facebook friend requests and phone calls from people wanting me to build them rifles. I get numerous inquires through the website contact page – usually several per day. When the film was released on Amazon, things went to a whole new level. To say I’m happy with their work would be a huge understatement.”
